How does AURORA work?
Aurora operates in strategic phases, with technology, coordination, and education.
It all starts with an agreement between independent companies to operate as a single operating body, and ends with a system where the work comes directly to us, on our terms.
Phase 1 – Union as a Cooperative
We unite under the name Aurora as a cooperative of independent operators. Here we establish basic agreements, collective representation, and a unified by-law that all members respect. This foundation makes us an organized guild with a strong and united voice. From day one, our agreements will be delivered to every broker company we negotiate with, so they know we stand together. Members will also gain access to the Master Contract and our Professional Pact, ready to be used daily in every negotiation.
Phase 2 – Clarity and Continuous Education
Through constant training and access to real market information, our members learn to negotiate with confidence, identify abuses, and make smarter decisions. This phase does not depend on technology, but on the empowerment of truckers through education and collective discipline.
Phase 3 – Voluntary Access to Carrier OPC Technology
Aurora provides its members with Carrier OPC, our digital operations center. It is not mandatory to use it, but it is available for those who wish to maximize their results. This tool delivers lane rate studies, market forecasts, and automated calculations that open the trucker’s eyes and remove the opacity from the system.
Phase 4 – Operational Independence
With the strength of education, guild unity, and technological support, we achieve true independence. In this stage, shippers will come directly to us to post their loads on our platform. We will no longer need to beg for scraps on load boards or settle for what the system leaves us. Everything will operate transparently and fairly. With clear terms and minimal commissions, we prove that truckers, united and organized, are the true center of the logistics industry.
Additional Advantages: In addition to these phases, Aurora as a cooperative will generate collective benefits such as access to discounts on tires, insurance, paperwork, and logistics services, strengthening bargaining power and reducing costs for all its members
