AURORA PROJECT
For too long, independent truckers have carried the weight of an industry built on exploitation. We move the freight, we keep the economy alive, and yet we are treated as disposable labor, stripped of dignity and transparency.
We arrived at this breaking point because of systemic abuses:
- Load boards, owned and controlled by broker associations like TIA, reduced us to faceless bidders, forcing us into blind auctions where we compete against each other instead of negotiating as professionals.
- Unilateral contracts filled with waivers, hidden clauses, and abusive terms designed only to protect brokers while exposing carriers to all liability.
- Double brokering and fraudulent practices that hide the real value of loads from the very people who transport them.
- Government inaction and FMCSA silence, failing to enforce the laws of transparency, allowing shippers and brokers to manipulate the system while truckers go bankrupt.
- The flooding of the industry with foreign labor visas for mega-carriers, undermining those of us who live, pay taxes, and fight to survive in the United States.
We have been turned into slaves of the load board system, competing blindly while brokers control every term of the game.
But today, Aurora Cooperative is born as a turning point. For the first time in history, truckers are organizing as a guild—a cooperative with one contract, one voice, and one strategy.
Aurora is not asking for favors. We are demanding respect. We are demanding payment for every mile, every detention hour, every layover, and every sealed load delivered. We are demanding full transparency of rates as required by 49 CFR §371.3(c), and we are prepared to enforce our rights in civil and federal courts.
Aurora means:
- No more blind bidding.
- No more unpaid time.
- No more fraudulent claims.
- No more silence.
We do not place our hope in politicians or agencies that have abandoned us. Instead, we stand together as a cooperative, ready to litigate, to expose abuse, and to reclaim the power that belongs to the carriers who move this nation.
This is not just a contract—it is a movement of dignity.
This is not just a cooperative—it is our revolution.
With Aurora, we are no longer scattered individuals at the mercy of the system. We are one body, one voice, one force. And together, we will recover the respect, the value, and the justice that truckers have been denied for far too long.
